Dino Silingardi - TICOSA

Passionate about photography from when he was a small child, Dino Silingardi has carried out his own very personal and intimate exploration of the medium, strictly avoiding any contamination from the commercial world. He produces exquisitely sensitive portraits and experiments with unusual techniques in creative still-lifes and in landscape photography, developing his own visionary language. In his project “La Ticosa”, he has created a memorable record of the huge textile mill that played such a crucial role in the history and life of the town of Como for over a century. 24x30 silver-gelatin prints on Ektalure, with selenium toning.
